Eat Me, Author's Kitchen

A restaurant with the chef's name on the door needed a site as bold as her plates: loud red letters, a warm room and a table one tap away.

Put the chef at the center

Eat Me serves home-style European cuisine. The founder is an award-winning chef and the author of every dish on the menu.

Restaurant sites often hide the people behind the food. Here the chef had to be the face of the place, and booking a table had to be the easiest thing on the page.

Idea

  • A big red name Oversized red letters turn the restaurant's name into a sign on the street.
  • The chef says hello A warm portrait of the chef greets guests on the first screen.
  • The room behind her Soft, blurred lights of the dining room set the evening mood.
  • Book in one move A red booking button stays in sight from the first screen to the last.

Hungry at first sight

The site feels like walking in and being greeted by the chef: warm, confident and ready to seat you.
